is there any way of cleaning lockwood dials?... as mine have started going yellow..
possibly from the sun, as i left my car in direct light over the weekend, and now theres marks where the needles were resting.
will a solvent work?.. or will it remove the numbers, writing?..
cheers

its not dirt or something that can be cleaned off. its discolouration caused by the sunlight. there's nothing you can do but replace them. i did mine when they went so bad they were nearly brown.

ahh, but the way i see it:

*led bulbs with standard dials have poor visibilty.
