I would just get a C20 Let, easy on fuel and cheap to insure

1.2 8vs are 45bhp and the 1.2 16v mpi is 65bhp, so if its a 1.2 16v spi then wouldnt it be less????

1.2 16v SPI's don't exsist.

I think what mattk was trying to say is that there are no 16v Merits, They are all 8v.

Right, what about 1.0 12V vs. 1.2 8V then?

And how could I tell what engine is truly in the car if its not displayed on the bodywork?

Are there visible differences under the bonnet? Other than the 1.0 being a 3 cyl obviously?
