Very random question - but I'll be working in Conwy and staying in Llandudno for about 5 weeks this year and will want to use a gym. Are there any proper gyms up there - with proper free weights section? If so a name and location would be great - cheers!

Hi, I go to a gym opposite Tesco.
Called Llandudno Junctio Leisure centre. It's good but quite small.
£25 induction, and then £3 each time you go.
There's no barbell there, but has plenty of dumbells, from 2kg up to 48kg.
If you're after a bigger gym, then you'd be best going to somewhere called "Le Sport" in Rhos On Sea, which is roughly 5 miles down the road from Llandudno. Has a pretty big section of free weights there. Induction is £40 I think, and then £4 or £5 each time.
There's also a gym opposite Llandudno police Station. Has all the basics there, and free weights with a barbell. Allways packed there though.
Depending on money I guess, but The leisure centre will probably be about your best bet, but if you want a gym with a barbell then Le Sport it is.

If you just want to lift weights, there is a little Gym in Conwy (Just outside Llandudno) which is packed with different weight lifting stuff. Its only £2 a session and you can stay in as long as you like

When was the last time you went? Was under new ownership about 3 years ago.
Not sure dude, what's it called? I can't remember. Round the corner from callums yeah?

cheers for the info - what's the one in conwy called? where abouts is it ( within the walls or not?). Also does it have parking?

Can't remember what it's called mate, its literally just outside the walls, and has parking but usually quite full.
