That your car is not very good at certain things?
My car is fine for me going to and from work, and about the general area, sure I get the odd look because of how loud it is but it dose not bother me, at the end of the day it isn't going to be quiet because of what's under the bonnet.
But tonight im going out with my girlfriend as its her birthday, and taking my car to a nice restaurant and parking it I get the worst look ever! Then when two people undo there harnesses and get out in nice cloths I get confused looks, I know people are going to say just go in a taxi bla bla.
Just wonderd if anybody else gets like this with there car?

I get weird looks when i get out of the audi in my gym clothes. Don't know whether it's cos i look young though

I know what you mean mate, when i use to have the corsa and i'd go to nice places it would be the same thing. Never use to let it get to me though

I know how you feel mate. But not many cars will be good in all occassions at our age. Until you can afford an M3 or so, it'll happen

I do in the company cars when im not in the offices, in normal clothes
18yr old in a 56 plate tdi passat with joggers on!

i tell you what never looks out of place - my mates 2005 azure blue ??( dark blue thing)corsa sri cdti
Standard bar resprayed hurricane grey rims and irmsher grill. At posh place - people think thats a stlyish, sensible car for a 18yr old...then when out and about, people think nice sporty corsa

wherever you go your guna get weird looks if you have a loud car, probably jealousy some of the time but i always get dodgey looks, working at a hotel people expect you to have a brand new real smart car.

i always get dodgy looks aswell espec when take the gf to a posh restraunt in aberdeen espec when im coming down the gears to go in then get out in shirt trousers etc

peole just expect yoou to look like a chav or something just cuz u get out of a loud corsa, i had a bmw 350 try and race me the other day, was no chance.

This is the same for me, for my job i drive lots of different cars being a car transporter. Just like today, im 18 and look quite young, i was driving a 56 plate merc SL from Manchester, the looks i got just cracked me up

yeh, getting out a chaved up corsa, does get you some looks
its times like thoes you want a nice standard car

working at a bank and pulling up in a ''chavvy'' corsa does make me want a normal car sometimes but it has its pros at points too

I get some funny looks when I'm dragging myself out of my bucket seats. When you're getting out horizontally it tends to confuse people a bit Only ever seem to get disapproving looks from the odd pensioner when I pull up cos it's loud but pensioner's just disapprove of anything
