Anyone got one, had one, or have any usefull experience?
Think i remember Dan J100 having one, but could be wrong.

Must be getting old but i quite fancy one for a next car.
I know it wont be a very involving drive, but i like the idea of floating around in luxury, and they're pretty cheap at the moment.

Just wondering if there's anything to be aware of or watch out for?

A pre-2001 model would be good to buy, just to annoy the government.

They gulp petrol like its going out of fashion, they have electrical problems sometimes.

Apart from that, they are very nice, luxery solid cars

Silly amount of car for the money.

I'd be looking at around '96-'97 i think.

My beemer only averages 20mpg, so i can't imagine the jag being much worse than that. I'd probably drive it slower anyway.
Electrical problems are more of a concern though. Is it just gremlins like dodgy window and mirror connections, or does it effect ignition system as well?

they are actually very small in the back, hardly any leg-room and a low roof line.

make sure you get one with leather, almost impossible to sell without it.

buy one, slam it on xk6 polished rims & low pros. very cool.

they did a long wheel-base version which is a bit town councillor.

Not ones around 91> as Ford owned them from this period.

Jags are superb so much comfier than Merc and Beemas. Need to watch for rust though on these.

Just think you can pick up an XJR for around 4-5k now

ah right. My bad.

possible drop on some bigger wheels, then just waft about the place. I don't do many miles anyway, so bad economy wouldn't cripple me. Saying that some reviews say they will do 25-30 on a run which i'm about used to.

Also, it looks like Aston Martin wheels will go on them
