only has the speedo clocks how easy is it to add the rev gauge ones? just plug and play thought to speak?

pre 97 difficult, post 97 plug and play as it was all electric....or so i would believe

I tried to change the clocks in my merit to rev counter ones and could never get the rev counter to work had to put my crappy old ones back in.
but as its an envoy you might have the right wiring in which cas its just as case of swapping them over

If the speedo starts at 0mph, it's electric, therefore easy as the wiring is probably there.
If the speedo starts at 10mph, it's cable, and more difficult.

in the first related thread it says u can only fit one from a 1.0l what if i was to put a 1.6 16v engine in would anywork then?

If you change it to a 1.6 16v you'd need to change the clocks for some non 12v ones
