How do I do this.

Is it just a case of cut a 40mm hole in the decking and stick it in

need to anchor it or fix it to the decking.

How about a bit of pipe that you can side the airer in to that also has a collar at the top to fix to the cking surface

That will be like a stick in a bucket, need to have the end of the airer going into a tube of some sort to give it stability.
