i'm getting qoutes of about £1500 to insure my 1.6 corsa, it was a 1.0 but i changed the engine,
does this sound about right?
i'm 20 with a sp30(speeding), a cu30(difective tire(s)) and 1 claim 
anyone suggest a good insurer?

ps. topped thread in HZ for the list. Or moneysupermarket.com is also good, I found my best there. More difficult with the conversion obviously. May be that you need to spend some time on the phone unfortunately.

Who ever is the cheapest on any price comparison website, go to their website or ring up, to cut out the comparison website - also, they often make assumptions, then bump the price up when you add further details.

i have just got my renewal today with adrian flux 3 yncb £694 fully comp 1.6 sport and £250 excess, cheapest excess i have found atm.
