Kenwood seem to be doing a lot of good headunits at the moment.

And most modern ones have a bluetooth addition which is easier to fit than the Parrot kits

My Kenwood is also on it's last legs - any recomendations for a headunit that has iPod connectivity (again for a touch), bluetooth and the ability to play mp3's would be cool, also one that fits a standard DIN slot and doesn't fold up/down or anything (like my current one does and obscures half the heater controls) would be grrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

wouldnt get anything other than alpine for use with an ipod, none of the other brands are as easy to use its like ipod function was an afterthought where as the alpine ones feel like they were designed around that feature!

Think I have the 9882? Identical to that, comes with the ipod lead and you can search through the ipod using the headunit and its bluetooth compatible and has a usb socket at the back.

was £150 from car audio direct, and used the free delivery code from the sticky in ice section

Yes, but the addition is just plug and play into the CD player, not into the car loom etc. Then there is only 1 cable to route (the microphone) and no button etc

Heres a few pics of it in the Ibiza. You can change the colour of the buttons from green to blue to red and orange.
