Was just driving home from a quite a long drive and on the way home my engine management light came on. think i did about 130 odd miles then it came on. anyone know why this has come on. its not flashing or anythin it just stays lit up when i drive?

There must be a fault, get a code reader on and check for fault codes

turned the car on about half an hour later and the light went off?? recon its alright i never normally drive far distances on the motorway and it came on whilst driving home.
