Can put ur foot flat to the floor and all i get is induction noise but if i just lightly press my peddle and it will pull. Go past 3k and it pulls like it should only way can describe it is its like turbo lag.

Anyone got any ideas its on an x16xe.

mines is sometimes boggy but only if the bay is very hot or if the cars first started.

put the airbox back on and see what happens

Airbox is on, it isnt all the time aswell. Will check all gaskets and seals on the inlet system. Cheers

Which engine is it? if it doesn't have an AFM then I doubt its an air leak because at full throttle there isnt any vacuum to suck air through a leak.

Are the plugs and leads in good condition? getting it on a scanner is always the best bet so you can spot any sensor thats giving daft readings
