I am getting more and more tempted TBH
Whats the tax on these for 12 months, £180?
What are they like on fuel? What options do they have?
Tax will be what ever a 1500cc is pre-2001 as it's a W-reg come speced with CD player, air con, ABS, PAS, drivers airbag for sure, may be passenger, electric windows and mirrors. Possibly heated front screen which heats the washer jets too

BMW Have been doing that for years since the E30 (1982?)
It seems like that is going to be a good bet for the GF as she has a budget of 1.8k so I should be able to get one for that Just need to find one that hasnt been abused!

Not a heated front screen as with elements in it, like your rear screen. This is only ever found on Ford's 'cause they have copyrighted it or something.

Well guys you have done a good job in convincing me.
Time to take the GF along so she can see one and drive one. As I keep forgetting its her car were buying not mine
Either going to be a Zetec-S or a Puma I think

Didnt realise my Mondeo had a heated screen, hours we sat there wondering why the taxi meter wouldnt pick up a GPS signal, changed the set and airiel about 10 times still no joy (obviously) Moved the reciever to the drivers side pillar and it picked it up straight away we were kicking ourselves!
