my phones playing up a bit today (htc touch).
it keeps conecting the orange mms yet i recieve nothing,
doesnt show up messages when i recieve them for example my phone has lit up on 3 or 4 occasions today but nothing else happened, opened my inbox as they sometimes show up then but nothing.
then checked it again about 5mins ago and got 3 messages at the same time from earlier today.
grrr stupid phones.
how do i stop it conecting to the internet?

install a flashed rom, i presume your still on the standard one.
it makes it so much faster and more responsive aswell.

er its basically a new version of the operating system the phone runs on, but one that has been tweaked to be a lot better by other users of the device.
have a look on here

gets rid of a lot of bugs and software issues aswell as making the touch flow interface a lot more responsive amongst other things.

well yes and no, update it yes but with a custom firmware not an official one as they suck.

right its been doing it again tonight it was connected for over an hour before i noticed emailed orange and going to ring them tomorrow.
using my old phone now

mine did this alot, but now has stopped. It does it when it self updates the weather on it. You can stop it. Use a flashed Rom or change your internet settings on the phone.
