My little bro wants one for christmas, I know alot of poeples have broke and had the ring thing happen.
I under the impression there are 3, stanrad, premium, elite, is it just the standard one that has this problem or do they all.

Up untill a few weeks ago i would have told you to get the premium package...but mine has just started restarting it self in the middle of playing games and watching movies :angry:

I think the elite has the best chance of not breaking, they supposedly sorted out the heatsink issues.
i THINK... I'm sure someone will either confirm or deny that...

get the premium, no need for elite really.
as far as reliability issues, my xbox is 3 years old and has never had a single problem

I think its just luck of the draw
Ive known elites break after a few weeks and ive known people like lee who never had a problem
At the end of the day if it breaks it will be sorted

A friend of mine brought an Elite brand new and it got the Red Rings of Death after a month. Microshaft may have said they've sorted things with the Elite but its bollocks.
