Do corsa 1.4 16v sports have a egr valve  If they do where abouts is it? +++++ the second air injection unit if thats what you call it. Where it goes into the exhaust manifold. Would it make the car run smother or run better if i took this offf ?

its at the back of the inlet manifold near the coolent bottle.

Just read a posy. And some1 said that the thing that goes in to the manifold is the egr valve :S:S will the car run better if blocked off ?

I dont know, took mine off and blocked it off and runs ok, same as the secondery air pump crap.

EGR valve is at the back of the engine under the upper inlet manifold, think your talking about the secondary air injection system because thats what the valve on the exhaust is.
Wont really make it any smoother but gives you more room under the bonnet, it only works for about 1 minute when you start the car from cold to try to warm the cat up quicker
