He's got a point about Owen adapting his game, but I think the strikers he has picked are playing better and more confident at the moment, it's not doing him any good being at Newcastle in the situation they're in, he's a great finisher but nowhere near the 18 year old promising star we thought he'd turn out to be.

The thing about the OWEN suituation is does anyone really care whether hes in the squad or not?? I know i dont - i really dont think many England fans are bothered about Owen

I dunno, I suppose I'm an outsider looking in, but I think if Newcastle were problem free and the team was doing well we'd see a different Owen who would deserve a place, or for example if he was get a move to a team like Villa or Man City, a team on that level.
