well iv posted a few pics of my car up before but i thought i would start a project thread!

heres how the car looked a while ago before i decided to take it off the road



and heres how it looked last week





heres a pic of some of the parts iv gathered up including genuine new wings, side skirts and arch mouldings!



the car went on monday night to get painted so il get more pics up when i get it back!

i stripped it because the roof was pink and it needed a drivers door! im glad i did strip it when i did because i found some rust but thats all getting sorted! i got a x16xe for it thats just been fully rebuilt with a port and polished head, cams, vernier pulleys, arp bottom end bolts and lightened flywheel! if i can afford it after the respray im going to go for jenvey throttle bodies and dta management! anyone know what bhp roughly it should be with them mods?

ok so i havent been on here in ages so i thought i would post up a bit of an update! got the shell back last saturday from getting painted im really happy with the pain job il have to get some better pics with the digi cam because these are only crappy phone pics





im getting the bumpers, skirts and arch mouldings back after xmas that should give me some time to get the interior back in it! all i need to do now is save up for my throttle bodies, and il hopefully make it to pv09!

I remember I was going to buy this car about a year ago, bottled it cause it was in Ireland

Good work though - should be a peach when it's done!

Red gsi's are the best cant wait till its fully restored..

Any idea on other things like wheels etc?

cheers mate think im going to get 16' softstars for it! i love speedlines but i just like softstars on a corsa b that bit more! as for other things im keeping it preety much standard looks wise! still need to buy other bits like poly bushes, four branch and exhaust system.
