I'm so frickin' cold right now! Is there an idiots guide on how to program central heating controllers because I've got my instruction manual, but it makes little to no sense, especially as it's a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy

Also, what's a sensible program to have? An hour before I wake up in the morning, and then when I get home in the evening for a few hours? I don't really want to have it on for too long as they are electric panel heaters and I don't have much money

What floor you on?

I used to live off the heat from the apartments below and next to me so never needed the heating on at all

I'm on 4th. I used to get away with it, but at the moment, it's about 17 degrees in here and I'm very chilly. My friends on 13th don't ever turn theirs on

i only turned mine on last week in a semi.
my thermostat is only on 17deg anyway.

is it programmable for seperate days? my programmer will come on twice between two pairs of times or you can select 'once' where it'll come on at the start time from the first pair and go off at the end time for the second pair. useful for weekends if you're in the house all day.

what unit do you have ed? might help someone give you some pointers.

I'd quite like to have it so it turns on at about 6:30am so it's nice and warm in my room when I wake up at 70am. Might make me get out of bed better

I've sorted mine. Pulled the fuse on it so it's switched off.
