IIRC when you have the cambelt changed on the 1.8T (150hp) VAG engines, you also have to change the water pump.

Am I right and is there anything else that has to be changed?

Dont have to change the water pump, but the early ones had plastic blades that broke off! Best change for one with metal blades.

You also need to change the tensioners when replacing the belt.

As simon said really mate, do the waterpump just for peace of mind (make sure it has a metal impellor) and get the tensioners done too

Cambelt kit
water pump
alternator v belt

there is a hydrolic tensioner on most 20v's which doesnt come in the cambelt kit, we replace them as there is a issue of them possible seizing, they are about £80 though
