I recently did a paperclip test on my xe corsa, which came up lambda sensor and hall sensor, which i have now replaced and my eml light has gone off. Only problem is when im driving it as soon as it hits 4k revs, the light comes on for a split second and it pops and bangs out of the exhaust..does anyone have any opinions on what could be causing this? thanks

Mine was doing the same, poping and banging out the air filter and it was a faulty AFM and lambda.

ive tried different afm, distrubutor, lambda, leads, plugs, cap, rotor arm and fuel pump. There are no codes on my ecu, ive let it reset over night twice. it starts and revs fine, then until u hit 4k revs the light flickers on. when i am driving it and hit 4k the eml flickers on at the car becomes really lumpy and backfires until i change gear. thanks

well course it will because the crank sensor aint reading when to spark so there will be no spark. where the crank sensor bolts to the bolt check that te cranck sensor aint loose on the block
