My solenoid seems to be sticking, Where is it situated? Can you clean it, if so how? Or do i need the garage to put a new one in? Thanks for replys!

Let's see. You have a solenoid in your starter motor. If you have a diesel then there will be a solenoid in the fuel valve. If you have central locking then door motors may be solenoids. With a boot popper that's another solenoid. That's assuming your car is a Corsa...!
You may as well have asked how you clean a bolt. More information would be useful.

Oops oh yeah, yeah its a corsa 1.2 16v. The solenoid for the starter motor, well quite frequently now i turn the key to hear "click", and no turn over. It keeps doing it, i eventually get it to start. Is this the starter motor itself or is it the solenoid?
