its more a case of it stops growing so probably won't need cutting, i guess you need to avoid when we have a good ground frost or snow.

Mid october'ish I think is normally when the grass gives up growing for winter so you dont need to cut it.

Bugger that, I saw a couple of farms last week that were just starting to cut sillage
I will be giving the lawn a final tidy up at the weekend, if it isnt frosty

Grass is one of the most hardy plants in the world, cut it whenever you want, you will be hard pressed to kill grass by any means other than removing the soil and concreting over it, but oh wait, it will just grow in the cracks
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

i think when the temp doesnt go above 7 degrees C, it stop growing and u should stop cuttin grass.
