On saturady, we tiled the kitchen splash back, I measure, cut the tiles, mix the adhesive up... and guess who wants the easy job... dad. he sticks them up on the wall

Sunday afternoon, I grouted them all up... using anthricite gray grout.

Jo had a clean up this morning.

Then this afternoon I've repainted the kitchen... colour washed the walls after having Magnolia for long enough since i painted everything out with it back end of last year and the start of this year. Only moved in this April and the kitchen needed finishing off. At least its done for Christmas

Very happy with the results.
the 100x100mm tiles came from Tile Giant, saw them on dispaly and knew they were the ones. then found out they were only 19p a tile.. WINNER, cheapest they had.

Colour wash.. you either love it or hate it. i love it

LED mood lighting finishes it all off

you need a brushed stainless microwave; the white doesn't go with the cooker or fridge - apart from that its looking good

Looks good but I'm not keen on the colour wash walls?! They look dirty like damp wallpaper.

Im in the throws of having a new kitchen fitted. I also have leds (white 15mm) to go in the plinths, but think it will be overkill.
Your efforts look decent enough

them blue lights looks gash. you've styled the kitchen very nicely and then finished it off with tacky blue lighting. apart from that everything else looks top.

Kitchen looks really nice
The walls look like they've just been plastered and left!
Not keen on the blue and green lighting together, the blue plinth lights look okay though

Do you also have neonZ on your car?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
