As above.
I've got a 1996 'P' Corsa Sport 1.4 16v.
Its covered 85k, and all seems well.
It just struggles into 5th - Ie sometimes goes into 3rd, you need to leave 4th, move it right across hard, and then go into 5th.
Also when parked the gearstick leans slightly to the drivers side, almost like a bent linkage...
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Is it a common fault on these?
What could it be?

have a look for a bent linkage or anything un usual if you still havnt found the promblem drain the gearbox oil and get a magnet and check for any metal in it

needs the linkage reattatched/tighten'd had this on my 1.6 the other week
