i currently have a sony ericsson w880i and my contract's coming to an end, been looking at the new nokia n96 and it looks an alright phone but was jut wondering if anybody had any recomendations (spelling)

I'm in the same boat Dan, just been looking at some now. Reviews of the N96 say it's slow and there's a lot of software problems, but I think they're just pernickity as it looks pretty But the Samsung Tocco looks cool!

ye i was looking at them as i wouldn't mind another pda type phone as i use to have a motorala a1000 and that was alright, been looking at the n95 aswell which look to be the same apart from having 8gb memory instead of 16gb

my n96 is 'mazin. no probs with it so far.
does everything i need it too and holds shed loads of music, so much so i got rid of my mp3 player.
its was quite slow when selecting certain menus and features but ive updated it now through pc suite and its fine so far.

I'm really considering getting it, any particularly selling features? If I do get it, I'll be harassing you to tell me how to upgrade it lol. I had the N73(i think that's what it was) back in the day and it used to freeze everytime I sent a text(software problem I think, never got it sorted, just got a new phone) so it makes me wary of the N series!

the deal i found is £25 a month for the phone and 500 anytime mins and unlimited texts which is good i think

Mate had n96 for a few days and sent it back. Coming from a n95. I got the c905 which is quite good
