Celica failed its mot today on emissions
Fast Idle Test
CO=0.57 Fail
HC=00017 Pass
Lambda=0.99Pass
Second Fast Idle Test
CO=2.16 Fail
HC=00028 Pass
Lambda=0.94
Normal Idle Test
CO=0.50
its either my cat or my lambda sensers. Can anyone tell from these readings which it could be? As lambda sensors aint cheap and a new cat for my car is uber expensive.
also anyone know any cheap places for ball joint/track rod end for a celica vvti 190
cheers

because the lambda readings both passed so its not likely to be that.
as for ball joint/track rod end.. Scrappers or Ebay

Cat's partially blocked going by that! Give the car a good screwing around before taking it for it's mot and ask them to do the emissions first

you tryed a coolant temperature sensor, 2 way sensors on nearly all new vehicles, 1 sensor controls the dash and the fueling, for the cost you may aswell try one

Additive such as REDEX.
Its just a fuel system cleaner you put in with your tank. Does what it says on the tin.
Avalible from anywhere...petrol station, supermarket and if you want to pay double the price - halfrauds

my corsa failed on emmisions last week and as i said, i sealed up the exhaust properly as it was drawing in abit of air where the centre section joins to the cat.
then i got some of that fuel supliment stuff from my local car shop. It wasnt redex but something very simlar in a purple tub, just pour it into your fuel tank
mot tester said it had made a big improvement to emmisions and it passed so i was happy
