Had this problem pretty much since I've had the car now and I'm sick of it...
Basically my exhaust is wobbling around when I drive and knocks the underside of the car (rear beam I think). So I can hear it knocking pretty much constantly, tried wrapping where its hitting with exhaust hanger rubber but this burnt off...
So I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions that I could do to stop it,taken it to various exhaust places and even had it cut and re-welded back in place but it still knocks.Could I maybe wrap it in manifold wrap or any other kind of heat proof material?

Is it a standard exhaust or sports exhaust?

i sorted mine's by using really strong cable tie's on the backbox rubbers to pull the backbox up closer to the bumper and even wrapped a flame proof cloth round the rear beam so it does'nt clang on the beam too work's perfect even on really bit bump's

use rubber matting and some tie wrapps worked for me. it still makes a noise from time to time though its all part of having a modified car.
