Author Heater blowing cold?

On my Metro, when you select the heater to the 'face' position it blows cold air but warm air on the windscreen and footwell position. Anyone have any idea why that could be? Cheers.

Oh this happened on my mates Nova, was told it's something to do with the heater matrix pipework - never got round to fixing it so I couldn't tell you for sure...

So, basically a pointless reply

try the hot air hoses from the heater... on metros there similar to the mini or is it a new type k series engined metro?? if its similar to a minis one i can tell you anything!! lol

I maybe be wrong... Its like a litle radiator that heats up + blows hot air through out your car once its warm.

So 5mins of running+ you should be de-misted in a morning

Is it a hard job? I've read you take the dash off and stuff to get it? My mate asked about it..now i've to help

Dont have to take loads of the dash apart. Just need to take the glovebox, storage shealth out to give you some room to work with. Then Just have to remove the plastic covers that surround the actual matrix behind the dash. Also need to disconnnect the hoses from the matrix behind the engine and remove the expansion tank. If you have a haynes manual not too hard to do

if it was the middle vent in the nova, they are only ment to blow cold air...
