hi ive got a 3.0 v6, for my corsa. ive put the 2.5 sump on and exaust im using the f20 box an the pot type flywheel. when i put the box on and tightend it all up the clutch lever on the box is solid which i mean i think that the thrust bearing is pressing on the clutch so wat caqn i do. i thought of washers between the box and bellhousing but to dogey for me.

For a start i don't think you should be using an f20 gearbox on a 3.0 v6 lump anyway unless that flywheel makes it acceptable Would have thought an f28 gearbox which is 6 speed,which may explain the problem? Not to do with the number of gears,but just the wrong box. Not a mechanic or clued up on v6 conversions but that is my guess?

Im doing a 2.5 v6 into my other corsa and I am using a flat lightened flywheel off a 2.0 so I dont think the pot type one is right as it may be too thick. I havent actually got the gearbox fitted to the engine yet so I am not 100% sure. The F20 box is definately ok for that engine just the ratios are a little bit short I think

f20s are used on them all the time, probably better to invest in an f28 though.

We have a mk2 astra V6 with a F16 box, gets driven in anger all the time and the box is fine!
2.5 is coming out now tho to make way for a 3.0 mv6 lump

I take it the engine is in the car and the clutch pedal is solid?
Because it isn't exactly easy to move the clutch lever by hand.

got a v reg corsa 1.0 engine gone and i got the 3.0 engine spare so y not. i know chris has mounted a 2.5 v6 to make the mount and i know the 3.0 block wise aint much different. i know its been done just do it to sell realy
