Not really comparable is it...

If you want modern day numbers....

A top duel dragster will hit 320mph in 1/4 of a mile.....

Lets see the 350mph record braker get to 320 in 1/4 of a mile, and not use the full 11 miles on offer to do the record (two runs too)....

Exactly what I was going to post.

You can't compare land speed record machines to road going cars. It's like comparing a lockheeed bomber to a passenger jet.

I'm pretty amazed that people think it's ugly.

I can think of plenty of examples of ugly and that Bristol doesn't fit the criteria.
