Co-op needs patching badly, the lobby system is awfull. You click on a server with 1 person in and it will say it's full, it's because the master server isnt refreshing them often enough so they are stale, old, however you wwant to call it. Just keep refreshing to get on them, your best bet for the maps is google pal, I only play untoten map

downloading anzio now still havent figured exactly where to put the patch so just put it in a few places i dont have a mods folder for some reason

There isnt a mods folder, you have to make your own. The 1.1 patch is easy to install, it does it all for you. The 1.2 patch should be with us before christmas, hopefully.
