Depends if your gearbox is eletronic or mechanically driven.
Does it have a speedo cable? Go look quick, If there's a cable then they won't fit, If no cable they will fit straight in.

Like I said, Like in your engine bay. On the gearbox is a sender, If a cable is on the sender the clocks wont work. If it is wiring coming from the sender the clocks will fit.

It was dark and i couldnt see well but i think theirs a cable not wires. Sadly by the time i legged it to the car checked and got back i had 4 seconds to enter a bid so i think i lost haha.
At least i know now. Although like a twat i did just realise it was the deeper grey bit i liked on the new dials and i could've swapped it onto my current 1.0 dials couldn't i?

The rev counter won't work properly on the 1.0, as it a 3 cylinder but the clocks will pick up the pulses for a 4 cylinder.

I meant i could've removed the grey bit that i liked from them (they were tigra ones i believe) and fitted them to my 1.0?

You mean just the outer casing? If your car has a rev counter then yes you can just swap the casings over.

If it's a 1.0 12v then it is electronic. You can also tell by looking at the speedo. If it starts at 0 it's electric, if it starts at 10 it's cable. Afaik this works for pretty much any car.
If you don't have a rev counter but do want one, then you have to get ones from another 12v car because of the way they are set up as Tom said.
But yeah if you want to just swap the fascia over then you can do that.

Dom on MIG could sell you a pulse convertor to change the pulse to run on a 3 cylinder engine if you can only get hold of a 4 cylinder rev counter.

They're interchangable mate.
You could always paint it like some people do, I'm in the process of painting mine now.
