over a VGA cable....will it hell display, says out of range or something
Pc is set to 1024*768 on this old CRT I am using, and my Dell D630 laptop works amazing on the TV, but this dont seem to work at all
Downloaded drivers for the 82945G display driver but still not working
any ideas? Cable etc is fine

Refresh rate will probably be set too high.

tried setting it on a CRT to 60, 75,85 then plugging it into the samsung, didnt work
didnt think it would though lol - how do you change refresh rate once samsung is plugged in - catch 22?

Refresh rate doesn't really matter to lcd's as they don't work the same as crt's but it can still be out of range.
Try setting it to a really low resolution then connecting it.
Also try switching it off, plugging the tv in then turning it on, sometimes it's just fiddly.
Have neither of them got DVI?

What is the native resolution on the TV? May be an issue with the aspect ratio. It certainly won't be 1024 x 768 if it's a widescreen TV.

16:9 or 4:3 it plays for a fact, unsure on others
laptop auto adjusts to the correct size, will have to check what it outputs
even at 800*600 it wont work
