Went shopping earlier and thought i'd buy NHL 09 for the 360 as hockey games are great for passing time. i thought i'd be able to get it cheapish but its still near enough full price. i can get Fifa 09 cheap as chips atm so why is NHL 09 still so expensive?

Probably because it's not really a game everyone goes for, so stores don't buy thousands of copies in. They'll buy copies of Fifa by the tonne, so will be able to sell it dirt cheap.

I had the exact same problem a few weeks back, looked everywhere for it and like you say anywhere that does have it have it at near full price. On the off chance I rang blockbusters up and they had a second hand one in, £23.99. Happy days

Went in Gamestation today and got it for 29.98 on PS3 though.

Good Game so far, control system is complicated to begin with though!
