i know you can get kits etc, this is just a general question, surely any throttle bodies will work with the right manifold and injectors? or am i way off?

yeah would work....within reason, but depends how much work you want to do to make them work.

well my understanding is to get bogg brothers to do me a manifold and run R1 Tb's...

bogg bros will do a complete kit, way you worded question was as if you'd just get like 4 of the same tbs, make a manifold and see if work.
bike tbs will work fine.
whats the spec of the engine?

Beardy said that too, i read it seemed fine, but what an idea i am! haha
Well i'm way to phone bogg bros now, with a few different setup's see what they said is best, and get price on manifold
