i want to connect my xbox to xbox live but what do i need?
gold membership?
and what cable to connect it to the net? and also where do i get the cable from?

Also is it worth getting it? anyone else on here use it if so whats your thoughts on it

You need a gold membership to play online

you need an ethernet cable to connect to your router or an xbox wireless adapter.

you can get the adaptor from gamestation, gameplay, game, play, pc world.. pretty much anywhere that sells xbox 360

as for the ethernet cables.. they are not cheap at all.. something like 14 quid for a metre at pc world

as for whether its worth it.. yes.. although i havent played mine for a while..
can be annoying getting abuse off pre-pubescent american kids but just ignore them..

also be wary.. microsoft suck so you need a mastercard to pay for your subscription unless you go out and get a pre paid card

My Visa Electron used to be fine to pay for Gold membership

Not strictly true. From PC world they are expensive yes. But look on the internet and can find much cheaper. I got 20M ethernet from internet for about 14£.

Live is deffo worth it, if you will play online. Personally i think its awsome, im always on there
