sometimes my ecu light will flash and car wont start, and sometimes the revlimit goes to 4 grand and just bounces anyone know why\?

The flashing ECU light and the car not starting sounds like an Immobiliser fault mate.

my corsa gsi was only hitting 4k when i first got it, it would bounce off the limiter at 3.5-4k and it turned out to be the knock sensor

Isnt that the engine going into limp mode, only revving to 4k?

my bottom pulley is a bit mullerd has been playing up for a while have just got another pulley and crank pulley so ill fit it n see what happens
