been having a few problems for a while now, car is idling high at about 1200rpm, it doesnt start when hot and also i noticed that the plugs are very sooty, took the plugs out today and cleaned them, ran it at idle for a couple of mins and rechecked them, the plugs were just as bad again. any help would be great, thanks.

running rich by the sounds of it change the cts

yeah its overfueling, ive changed the cts but made no difference, also noticed if you rev it quickly it just wants to cut out but if you rev it slowly it doesnt cut out, any other ideas? cheers.
ive also changed 02 sensor, crank sensor, tps, fuel rail, injectors, afm, dizzy, coil, checked timing, the list goes on!

Have you changed all the parts for 2nd hand bits?

some parts are new and the others were taken from a running engine.

Did you buy a non gen cts? or is it 2nd hand?

was a new cts but a non genuine.

I'd only put a genuine one on thier only £15 max from vauxhall

i had the icv out and cleaned it a few weeks back.

cleaning it dosent always sort the problem i tryed cleaning mine and it still idles high like it used 2 i am just gonna buy a new one
