that's an old one but shouldbe alright, will be quite loud though.

how relaible are they? will it be better/last longer than a 1600 8v engine?

should last well into hundreds of thousands if driving normally.

obviously, it's pick and mix with the ''old ford build quality'' and as such, there may/will be some problems, but that's the joys of buying a used car i guess.

When you buy it, just give it a service (cheap oil. filter .plugs.) and change coolant and should be sounud
