... i'm trying to fit a toilet but the waste pipe is coming from the side and goes round the back of the toilet. however when its all connected the toilet doesn't fit against the wall its too forward cause of the waste pipe.
How do i over come this?
(btw the cistern sits on top of the pan)

Flexi multiquick Thats the other thing I was thinking about. Used one of those when I fitted my parents new bathroom where the waste pipe lays under the floor at a 90 degree angle. Done the job nicely unlike the shitty hideaway cistern I fitted. Shiiiiite!!!!!!!!!

yup i used a fexipipe. was murder tho. had to make the pipe go closer to the wall then round the back end of the pan.
It one of those toilets where ur not suppose to see any piping but cause my waste pipe is a side entry and its alot further forwards, the whole toilet sat forward.
Sorted now cheers guys. Next step is sink then bath. Easiest bit was the radiator.
Pics soon to follow
