Just back in. Fucking gutted.

Not that we deserved the win, as we played shite, but were certainly the better team.

Torres had some moments of magic (one time down the RW where he made about 5 Everton players look like non-leaguers.)

Benayoun proved why I hate his fucking guts though. The shit head doesnt deserve to pull on a red shirt and I just dont have a fucking clue why he continues to be brought on in games. Rafa should of brought on Masch and told Benayoun to fuck off home early tbh.

Because Benitez isn't good enough imo, his decisions are poor

What a result that is for united though, looks to me like liverpools bubble is bursting

Bubble? We havent played well all season tbh. Two semi good games against you lot and Chavski. And then one great game away at Newcaslte. Thats it though, as we have been poor other than that.

We'll get better, especially now Torres is back and can hopefully stay fit. Will also help having Carra back in the middle instead of covering RB as Arbeloa was out injured.

We'll certainly push you a lot further than normally, and fully expect a result at OT this year. And you lot will drop easy points as everyone else has already this season too.

Well that's true about you not playing well all season, the good thing is, united aren't playing well yet either, but i think if we start scoring like we should, we should win the league comfortably

Also, WTF was skittles doing for the everton goal? Having one off the wrist?

I havent seen the replay yet - dont really want to either The free kick should just of never been given away, as he was going no where. Benayoun is a fucking dick.

I dont think you'll have it as easy as you think - we've got super duper Torres back now too remember

I know, Torres is the main problem, well the only problem really, because you wouldn't have a chance without him, gerrard cant do it all on his own as good as he is

Torres really needs to start scoring away from anfield though, because that's where the goals will really count

Honestly, watch the replay, you'd get a massive bollocking at sunday league leavel for leaving cahill like he did, never mind in a local derby when they needed to win

he's been injured for most, last seasons stats were massively in favour of anfield iirc?

21 out of 33.

I was actually talking about this at the pub before the match, saying that we've drop a lot of easy points at home this season in games we've controlled but failed to score in - the sort where Torres scored a load in last season.

I honestly think if Torres had been fit we'd be atleast 7pts clear by now just off a better home form, not taking into account any more points away.

All teams have injuries to contend with though

Rio's been missing for a while, rooney and ronaldo have missed a few games this year, evens itself out really i think

Is robbie keane injured? and babel?

No, I understand that and not saying we deserve to be that much clear - just think we've really missed those goals - more than I thought we would at home anyway.

Nothing wrong with either Babel or Keane. Babel just isnt upto scratch for Rafa yet, and Keane is fighting with Alonso and Masch for a place. As Gerrard plays behind Torres if he plays most of the time, so down to Keane pushing one of those two out to force Gerrard back into the middle.

Yeah i agree robbo, because all the ones i know personally think they are certainties for the league, or did about 4 weeks ago, saying united were shit etc

A grounded liverpool fan is quite rare

Keane looks like a waste of 20million to be honest, because he doesnt fit in anywhere

Thats strange, as I know a lot of fans (infact almost all on the forum I go on) who think we've been utter shite all season - not even average

If talk coming from Liverpool is right, Rafa didnt really want Keane as much as is being made out, and certainly not for the money we spent. Thats part of the reason he wants more control over transfers.

pretty poor showing, mianly benitez's doing imo. We don't sit back like that after scoring at home. Few shaky performances and i'm starting to question a few of our players desire to win this league.

Saying that, nice return for torres who looked like his usual self, couple of matches back in the fold and he'll be on fire. Gerrard as ever keeping the team alive and kicking even playing most of it out of position. Long way to go yet but advantage man utd.

I would echo cosmo's comments, no-one I know who supports liverpool was daft enough to write man utd or chelsea off that early.

Your second comment is still very much true from our perspective aswell As said neither team has really hit top form yet so it's going to be close and I wouldn't write chelsea off yet.
