On E4 now - but wasnt the first one meant to be set in the 70s and the sequel nearer now? The scary thing eats every 30 years or something but the kid just pulled out a mobile phone. I'm confused.com anyone know?

Just found an answer on wikipedia, 2nd one is meant to be days after but still confused how the girl on the bus in the 2nd has a vision about it all but never mind
