I doubt it, it's a stupid idea, like the majority of real hustle 'scams'

Is it wrong to have your mobile number as a re-direct to a premium number? Then ring people and ask them to ring you back?

I believe you have to tell them they may be charged more.

I know a few people who have set them up but use them as out of hour support lines for customers without a 24/7 package.

I think they are free to set up, I remember looking a few years back, you have to fill in a form explaining how it will be used if I remember rightly.

I saw a program where someone made a wooden box with about 20 mobile phones in it, the box had a mechanical arms inside which would press "call" to repeatedly phone his own premium phone line set to $150/h or something, this way is highly ilegal and the guy got majorly owned by the police.
Can't remember how he got round not paying for his mobile phone bills though.

Now that is a genius idea!
Do these things have a minimum charge too?
For example, if someone rings it for 1 second and hangs up... does it do a minimum of a 1 minute charge (i.e. 50 quid or whatever it's set up as). IF there was a minimum charge whatever the duration and you could put the charge rate fucking high, I may be very much tempted to do this when I get home
I'll just go exploring different parts of the uk or europe, like a road trip and each day I'll just walk into different shops / hotels / whatever and say
"Oh hi, excuse me... Could I please use the phone really quickly to call myself a taxi? I've missed my bus and I'm supposed to be meeting someone in 15 mins!" or some shit like that.
Basically be well presented / smartly dressed and polite.
You could go through a whole town and at least get about 5-10 calls in a day easy, if at 50 quid a pop you're sorted
then just move onto the next town! Therefore they won't be pissed off you keep coming back.
Win win
Although, I think the listing things for cheap is a good idea too. Just under the normal price, so it looks like a bargain rather than scam. Then 'Ring bla bla for details'.
Anyone want to buy a Honda S2000 for 3950 quid? (priced to sell)
