I can only do it on easy with the 3 buttons Green Red and Yellow!
As soon as I try and do it on normal and try and hit the blue notes it goes to shit.
Is there something I'm missing?!

Don't get into the habit of having your fingers resting on those 3 buttons.
I can complete When You Were Young on expert  (possibly due to the amount of times i've done it)

Use practice mode:
try and get used to using
a) your little finger for the blue
b) shifting your hole hand down the deck and using your little finger on the orange therefore all others are one notch down.
Then once your happy doing that, practice using your forefinger to alter between green and red, and then second finger to alter between red and yellow.
It took me a week or so every evening to get used to moving my hand, and then about 2 weeks to complete expert

I can do almost every song on normal, ive got stuck at the last boss, so got bored. I also cannot do anything requiring Orange note, so basically im limited to Normal mode
