its a W850i and its not working on the orange simcard so must be locked in some way

Pretty unusual for O2. Nearly all of mine have been unlocked. Unless it was an old ex pay as you go phone?.

Yeah the guy I sold it to said its been locked as its stolen or I didnt pay my bills. Its not stolen its my old phone and I did pay my bills as I'm still with o2
