does the wiring stay in the boot when i take the boot off? or does it just come out of the boot, then i have the thread it back into the boot when a new one goes on?

im asking when i take my boot off does the wiring thats in the boot for central locking ect come out of the boot? or does it just unplug somewhere

There is no plug, you will have to disconect all the plugs and wires on the boot and pull them out where the loom goes through at the top.
