My car heaters are warm. But not hot. We've changed the thermostat, tryed flushing the coolant system by putting a hose through it. They still don't work. People have suggested an airlock? People have said remove the expansion tank cap and turn the engine on and let it heat up until the fan comes on. I've tried this numerous times and it still doesn't do anything. There still seems to be air bubbles flowing through. How do I get an airlock out of a heater matrix as i feel it must be this? Any help appreciated!

Your matrix might be knackered full of scale/sludge/crap try flushing again or remove the matrix to clean or replace. oh and make sure the knob is opening the matrix valve fully.
