well technically, if the source you watched online was the same as the one you downloaded then yes it should because technically streaming is downloading on the fly

um in general no, streaming videos are usually lower quality than the equivelent downloads for instance, a downloaded divx may be 160mb but the streamed equivelent may be only 60mb.

this of course depends entirely on the source you are downloading/streaming but in general the rule of thumb is a streamed video will be lower quality than a downloaded source.
