I know getting an answer is not going to be easy, but i`ll try anyhows.
last night i had no choice but to run my car very low on fuel. i topped up this morning and drove to work. Driving home earlier today, the car started to kangaroo all over the place. It now wont idle smoothly, or rev past 3-4k without stamping on the throttle. It also throws the EML light on. the only other thing i have touched recently was the AFM and all i did then was to remove it and spray carb cleaner down it to clean the element.
any ideas people? It feels alot like fuel starvation but i am no expert on these things lol

I'd say AFM is the cause. I'm not sure you are supposed to spray stuff like that onto the sensor either.

I'd say fuel filter if it's only just started after going very low on petrol, even though it shouldn't really make a difference.
