Noticed a slight grinding noise when I pressed on the brakes earlier today, guessing its the brake pads on there way out?
Been told they are easier enough to change myself but would rather get it done at a garage so I know it's done correctly, any idea how much I can expect too pay for either two (think it may just be the fronts) or all four brake pads replaced?

If it's a 1.2 8v it's only going to need four discs, 2 on either side on the fronts. If you're wanting to replace the rears you're wanting brake shoes: E-bay link
Not a bad deal on front discs and pads as well: Discs and pads

Nice one fella, reckon its just the front then. Shows how much I know really
£40 roughly at a garage sound like a good estimate?

To get them fitted? If so aye, that's about what I was thinking. Between £40-60 depending where you go - I'd say try a local garage rather than Kwik Fit or the like.
